Description

The Infrared Transmitter and Receiver Module is a compact assembly designed for short-range wireless communication using infrared light. It consists of an IR transmitter capable of sending coded signals, and an IR receiver that can detect and decode these signals. This module is ideal for electronics projects requiring simple and reliable wireless communication.

Main Features

  • IR Emitter: Typically an infrared LED emitting at 940nm
  • IR Receiver: Photodiode sensitive to modulated infrared signals at 38kHz
  • Range: Typically 5 to 10 meters in direct line
  • Compatibility: Works with most microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
  • Power Supply: 3.3V to 5V depending on the model
