The LJA12M-5N1 inductive proximity sensor is a non-contact detector designed to sense the presence of metallic objects at short distances, typically up to 5 mm. It operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction, making it ideal for detecting both ferrous and non-ferrous metals without mechanical wear. The sensor comes in a cylindrical form factor (12 mm diameter, 62 mm length) with an NPN normally open output and a cable length of about 1.2 meters.
Application Domains:
Project Example:
In a mobile robot project, the LJA12M-5N1 can be used to detect the presence of metal pieces on a conveyor belt, triggering a specific action by the robot (stop, sort, count, etc.). It is also used in end-stop systems to ensure safety and precise movement of axes in CNC projects or 3D printers.
No customer reviews for the moment.
