2-digit 7-segment display for showing values from 00 to 99: counters, temperature, timers, scores and Arduino projects. Available in Douala, Cameroon, at Composants Faciles.
The 2-digit 7-segment display is an electronic display module with two LED digits, designed to show numerical values from 00 to 99. It provides a clear and instantly readable output, making it ideal for control panels, electronic enclosures, prototypes and DIY projects.
This display is widely used across electronics, automation and embedded-system projects:
Electronics and prototyping: learning, school and university projects, electronic circuit design and microcontroller experiments.
Home automation and smart home: displaying temperature, humidity, water level, setpoints or system status.
Industrial automation: counting products, cycles, speed, production rate or displaying error codes on machines.
Energy and measurement: showing voltage, current, power, consumption or sensor readings.
Timing and clock applications: digital clocks, timers, countdowns and stopwatches.
Public information and signage: people counters, scoreboards, queue-number displays and simple price displays.
00–99 counter with Arduino: increase or decrease a value using push buttons.
Digital thermometer: display temperature from sensors such as LM35, DHT11 or DS18B20.
People or object counter: use an infrared, ultrasonic or optical sensor to count entries or items.
Timer or stopwatch: display seconds, minutes or a countdown value.
Scoreboard: build a score display for games, competitions or sports activities.
DIY voltmeter or ammeter: show measured voltage or current in an electronic circuit.
Temperature controller: display the setpoint and actual temperature in a greenhouse, incubator or ventilation system.
The display can be controlled by microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32 or ESP8266, using current-limiting resistors on the segments. For two digits, multiplexing is commonly used: the digits are switched on and off very quickly, creating the appearance of a continuous two-digit display.
