Description

The MQ2 gas sensor is a versatile device designed to detect a variety of gases including LPG (liquefied petroleum gas), methane, i-butane, propane, hydrogen and even smoke. Using a tin dioxide (SnO₂) sensing element, this sensor offers high sensitivity and a fast response time, making it ideal for home and industrial safety applications.

  • Type of gas detected: LPG, methane, i-butane, propane, hydrogen and smoke
  • Detection range: 300 to 10,000 ppm
  • Supply voltage: 5V
  • Output: Analogue (variable voltage) and digital (TTL signal)
  • Warm-up time: Approximately 20 seconds
  • Adjustable sensitivity: Adjustment via potentiometer
